# Chief of staff inbox triage

Check the active communication surfaces on a schedule.

1. Scan recent Slack mentions, direct messages, and unread email.
2. Identify messages that require a decision, response, research, or scheduling action.
3. Pull the relevant context from calendar, docs, prior messages, and project notes.
4. Draft replies, but do not send them.
5. Rank items by urgency and consequence.
6. Update the work log with what is waiting on the user.

Stop when every new message has a draft, a clear no-action reason, or a recorded follow-up owner.
